Tue, January 3, 2006 - 3:14 PMHere in Michigan we have a tasty little number called Spatz bread, it makes the best freggin G/C sammiches eva! I. the bread is somewhat hard if eaten cold, it is meant to be grilled or slathered with butter and warmed in the oven. When grilled it holds the butter perfectly so when you eat it the melted crispyness is transfered to your finger tips. Its wonderfully crunchy, and the best I have found is to get some shaved turkey layer in some AMerican cheese, and a few slices of tom the tomato....I promise you will not be disappointed, if you provide me with a self addresed stamped envelope, Ill mail you 2 slices of heaven. -

Fri, June 1, 2007 - 2:46 PMSwiss cheese and tomato with butter on a baguette. Grilled or not grilled - as long as all ingredients are top drawer - heaven.
